Service Description:

The derivative named hydrography is the accumulated terrain and climate wetness variables with water bodies and depressions weighted based on total hydrology feeding into them and includes their depth. This derivative is a default value in the final CETWI calculation. Hydrography is an integration between the hydrologic influence and depressions datasets. The integration is done by simply calculating the hydrologic influence where depressions don't occur and calculating depression wetness where they do occur.

Purpose: This dataset weights the CETWI model based on hydrography features such as depressions and surface moisture conditions based on terrain and climate characteristics. The terrain characteristics involved include solar, curvature and slope. These have been modified with 30 year average annual precipitation derived from the PRISM 800 meter (1992-2022) analysis that is weighted based on a evapotranspiration analysis that modifies measured precipitation into effective precipitation.
