Service Description: A DEM derivative that influences multiple hydrologic processes as well as heat loading factors. A percent-rise surface was calculated using the 10-meter DEM, where the rate of change was determined between a cell and its neighbors. The final surface has values where higher values represent areas that gather water to lower values represent areas that shed water.
Purpose: The purpose of the slope dataset is to weight the CETWI model with a metric that estimates the resident time that surface moisture resides on the surface. Low gradient slope have high values and steep slopes have low values.
