The purpose of this project is to provide the United States Department of Agricultures (USDA) Aerial Photography Field Office (APFO) with current true-color digital orthophotography for Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the surrounding islands. The APFO is the prime source of aerial imagery for USDAs research needs. The contracting agency for the project is the St. Louis District of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).
Purpose: To provide USDA-NRCS, its partners and the public with updated digital orthographic imagery and metadata covering Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
