The purpose of this dataset is to inform the hydrography and CETWI model based on depressional areas where surface moisture will accumulate into closed depressional areas that capture and retain moisture. These areas are weighted based on the amount of accumulated hydrology. |

Representing low lying areas where water is likely to collect/pool or emerge from groundwater sources. Using multiple DEM derivatives to examine negative elevation differences created the Depressions layer. The final surface has values where higher values represent sinks or accumulating areas where moisture is likely to collect (e.g., playas, potholes, basins, and any other depressions.). The values identify the potential accumulated depths within the depressions.
